I want my penguins back.

((ooc: Her canon power is summoning penguins at will, so Hogwarts would have had hundreds of them derping around earlier.))
donttelldaddy: (You are just fascinating.)
I suppose this is a belated apology for having missed the first day of class. I had an... accident, but there's no permanent damage. So, no need to worry!

Oh, for the love of...why is it yellow? You can hardly see it! I'm sorry, my ink seems to be having a malfunction.

In any case, things are much better, now. I've had a lovely time, it more than makes up for missing the first day. The first years are just precious, especially the ones hopping on brooms for the first time. I haven't had to catch anyone to avoid a broken bone, yet, so that's a wonderful sign.

And, good luck to everyone trying out for the Quidditch teams this week! If anyone needs anything, tips or tricks or what have you, I'm sure I can free up some time.
donttelldaddy: (This is awkward.)
San Fransisco was lovely, but it's time to go back to England. School's starting up, and I've got to be there early. It's still a little bizarre, thinking that I'm not there to learn, I'm there to teach.

I suppose I should go pack. It should be easy, I've been living out of my trunk all summer, after all. Although, I should get some nicer things to replace the uniform.

At exactly one year ago today, I was dead. Down to the minute.

It was only for a few moments, but it's amazing how much can change in just a year. Dead to alive. In love, to not, more than once. From Monaco, to England, to America. From a double, no, a triple life, to just the one. Hogwarts student to Hogwarts staff...from daddy's little angel to an awkward stranger. Things can change so fast. There are still a few years left, who knows how things will end up, then?

That incident, the one with the dying, it was quite the wake-up call for me. The thing about waking up, though, is that eventually, you have to go back to sleep. If you don't, then you start to break down, you don't function properly.

I don't think that's anything to be ashamed of. I was always much happier asleep, and so was everyone around me. So, just for a little while, then.
donttelldaddy: (Optimistic)
It's been a lovely week, surprisingly! Ministry incompetence aside, things might be looking up. I had a wonderful date, and found plenty of things to keep me occupied. Did you know that there's a fight club right here in London? I just watched. Of course. That didn't make it any less fascinating, it was one of those no-rules sorts of arrangements where you go until you give up or pass out. There was so much blood, you could almost taste the metal in the air.

[p a u s e...]

Speaking of violence, Jules, how is your face doing?

[Private; Yukimi]

Are you doing any better? I thought I should check up on you.
donttelldaddy: (Melancholy)
Father was invited to the Ministry picnic this weekend. He says I should come and see him, but I don't think I will. It's disgusting that this event is even taking place, with this Voldemort fellow and his friends still on the loose. Surely, there's a more productive way for them to use their time than feasting and playing games.

People are dying. Not in the middle of nowhere, where none of us are affected, in Bristol now. They've gotten into the cities. That Hufflepuff boy lost his father.

It's hideous.
donttelldaddy: (Lollipop)
I'm finished with blind dates for the rest of my life.

Who wears long sleeves during the summer? It looks suspicious.
donttelldaddy: ([Lili Gaga 2])
[filtered from Alfred...]

Busted lip. Does anyone know any spells for that particular affliction? I would like it to be gone entirely. I have...fifteen minutes, give or take.
donttelldaddy: ([Lili Gaga])
Summer has been nice, so far. Coming home to somewhere other than Monaco is an interesting change. I feel a lot better without Sebastian badgering me at every turn. It would have been nice if I had the forethought to have him teach me some of the things he does, but I can make do.

I need to go shopping. It's getting nicer out, I think a cute pair of shorts are in order. Not walking around with giant robes all the time is one of the lovely things about living near Muggles. I saw one man punch another in the street! Outside a bar. It was a superman punch, so, so interesting.

I think I'll pick up ice cream, too. Alfred, do you have a flavour preference?

((ooc: replies will be posted with [livejournal.com profile] pornodancefight))
donttelldaddy: (I can see you)
[Private to Jules]

If you still want to know, everything's going to be fine. We're getting everything worked out.

Thank you for allowing me to invade your room for the last couple of weeks.

[Private to Alfred]

Is that offer still valid? I'm not going home yet.

[/Private]

Goodbye, Hogwarts. It's been wonderful. Even after everything, I'm glad I moved here from Beuxbatons. I'll miss it.

Good luck next year, Slytherin. And thank you for the yearbook votes. I'm flattered.
donttelldaddy: (CREEPER)
"Liar."

Cute. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

This incident, or curse, or whatever it may be, couldn't have come at a more appropriate time, really. Recently, I've been putting forth the effort to stop, and be more honest with people.

So, ask me whatever you like, and I will answer truthfully. I know I've fooled you all before. I won't have to see most of you ever again after a couple of weeks, so it's not as if I have anything to lose.
donttelldaddy: (Calm)
First day of NEWTs is down, then. I don't think I'll do any more studying, there comes a point where trying to cram more information into your head is more harmful than anything else.

Good luck, everyone.

[Looooooong pause.]

Father's day is the weekend of our release. I haven't decided yet what I should do for it. I should.
donttelldaddy: (So damn smug)
Are the results of the Quidditch match even valid, considering that the competitors weren't quite themselves? I certainly wouldn't want to play my last game as the opposite sex.

Regardless, congratulations to Gryffindor. Now you can drown yourself in exam preparation with the rest of us.
donttelldaddy: (Sigh...gdi you are so dumb)
[Private to Alfred + Jules]

Monsieur Bachant came to my house the day before Easter. He spoke to my father before I realized he was there. I don't think I'll go home.

[/Private]

I should have done more studying over the break. With NEWTs coming up, there's hardly time for anything else. I certainly don't envy those of you who have another Quidditch game to worry about on top of exams. It always gets so much more difficult to concentrate at the end of the year...

In any case, good luck, everyone.
donttelldaddy: (Legs and bondage!)
( Supposed to be private, but you can probably get through if you know her. Cut for long crazy person meltdown ramblings. )

I'm in Paris with my father. I've missed it here, it's so beautiful! In a few days, I'll be back home for good, he just has work to finish up first. We're having a big family event over the Easter weekend, the entire extended family is coming. I haven't seen many of them in years, so I'm very much looking forward to it.

I hope the rest of you are having just as lovely a time as I am.
donttelldaddy: ([Babby] Unsure)
[She found this thing on the table where she was when she first got here, so little Lili figured it out before too long. The problem, though, is that all the words are in English, and while Sebastian has taught her a little, she doesn't know nearly enough to read. So she yells into the little book in awkward English, with a very heavy French accent, as opposed to the lighter one she has at seventeen.]

HELLO! I am Emilie, who are you? Please take me home. My daddy will be worried.
donttelldaddy: (Gonna get you)
It was really lovely of the four of you to reverse all of the progress that our Quidditch team made in one night. And then some, even! Just fantastic, I didn't even think it could be done! Brilliant, really. You couldn't have recruited more Gryffindors for your juvenile nonsense?

Come see me, I'll teach you idiots how not to get caught. Just because I won't be here next year doesn't mean I won't be expecting you to win.
donttelldaddy: ([Asuka] Fight!)
[Filtered to Slytherin, addressed to the team]

Listen. Georgia, Eridan, the two of you especially, you're both embarrassments. I do not care if you hate each other, I do not care about your heritage, I care about winning the Quidditch Cup. So I except you to keep yourselves together. After the weekend, do as you please, but you will behave as adults when you are on the pitch. If we lose because you're too childish to play nice, the rest of the year will be very long and painful for the both of you, I promise.

That goes for everyone.

Don't let the fiasco at the memorial drag down your performance. Whether you have Muggle parents, or you're being blamed and glared at in the hallways. We're better than that, and we're stronger than that, if not being liked was something worth quitting over, we would have done so months ago. If the rest of the school wants to blame Slytherin, let them. Their anger will make them reckless.

[Private - Georgia and Dave]

Are the two of you alright? If there's anything I can do for you, please let me know.
