I should have done more studying over the break. With NEWTs coming up, there's hardly time for anything else. I certainly don't envy those of you who have another Quidditch game to worry about on top of exams. It always gets so much more difficult to concentrate at the end of the year...

In any case, good luck, everyone.

This weekend has done wonders in the way of convincing my father that Hogwarts is a suitable place for me. He entertained the idea of a last minute transfer back to Beauxbatons this summer...considering all that's been going on, with the war and such. Now that he's assured that the place is safe and that most of the professors are competent, there's no more cause for worry.

He seems to be enjoying himself, which is lovely. Although, part of that probably comes from the fact that he left Sebastian at home.

Ah, and tomorrow's Quidditch practice is canceled, Slytherin.

Besides the start of Quidditch practice, it's been a fairly quiet week. I suppose that's for the best, but it makes the time spent off the pitch even more boring in comparison to what it used to be. Even the homework is too easy. When is the final year stress going to appear, I wonder?

Oh, but back to Quidditch - Slytherin, a few of your brooms are shoddy or on their last legs. I've left a catalog on each of your doors, pick one and I'll get it for you. I've highlighted some suggestions, but you're smart enough to be able to handle it, no?
