~21st Dance~
[Private]
I don't know how I expected to fully enjoy a vacation like this. It's fun, and all, but there's just so much to worry about. Sneaking out of bed in the middle of the night, scouring lists, it's ridiculous, I'll wake up Matthew and I have no excuse for this.
...I should just tell him. At least then, if it goes wrong, he'll have seen it coming.
[/Private]
[Private to Jules - hackable for Matthew/Peter]
If your invitation is still open, I'd still like to make a stop by your house before I go off to the States. It's about time to make amends, wouldn't you say?
[/Private]
France is beautiful. There may have been a setback or two, but we're all having a good time now. In the morning we're going on the move again...I feel like visiting Bordeaux. And then, hopefully, Normandy.
((ooc: The first part is hackable if you know about her Death Eater hunt. Which I think is just Jules and Regene, but I could be wrong.))

I'm sorry to hear that, I would have liked to properly send him off...
no subject
There's no need to be sorry, it's his job. He'll see me off before I go to the summer camp. And he promised to tell me all about it, so it's just fine~
no subject
I imagine his line of work must be fascinating to hear about.
no subject
Well, not really, but...he works with some interesting people.
no subject
Politicians are always an interesting bunch, yes. ...it would be odd if my dad ever worked with your father.
no subject
-- oh and I meant breakfast
no subject
It's entirely possible, given his foreign relations background. What does your father do?
no subject
He was an Auror, but he was in the Department of International Magical Cooperation for some time. None too sure he worked with erm, ...Francophone nations though.
no subject
He could have been the Minister. If your father worked with France at all, they might have had at least some brief contact.
no subject
I'll have to ask him next time I see him. That would be... interesting.
no subject
He didn't mention anything to me about being acquainted with any Kirklands, though.

Well I'm sure they'd get along
if Dad is g, if they were to ever meet.lies
My dad gets along with everyone.
SHH let me sit here with my fake gold medal
My dad gets along with people. ...selectively.
no subject
Selectively?
no subject
Excuse me, I didn't mean to sound critical, but ah - Dad is old fashioned.
no subject
So is mine, but he still tries to get along with everyone.
no subject
... Dad would probably get along with you at least.

What was that supposed to mean?

lazyposition on the bed with a smile, journal resting on his lap. Time to act like he doesn't what she's talking about! ]Excuse me?
[Action]
[You can't play dumb with her, Matty. She goes ahead and invites herself over, sitting next to him.]
What did you mean?
[Action]
... Sorry, uh - are you talking about I said about my father?
[Action]
[Maybe she was just thinking too hard about it. Anything to take her mind off the tangled web of drama and worrying that had become her life, lately. She sighs, shaking her head.]
Nevermind. I'm exhausted. My body doesn't have enough energy to keep up with my brain, I'm afraid. [Lili lays her head against Matthew's chest, her eyes closing and opening again half-lidded.]
[Action]
[ Her obvious lack of energy came to Matthew as a surprise. After all, they had shared a bed since the start of vacation and kept similar sleeping schedules because of it. Unlike her, he felt perfectly rested (naps aside) despite the level of activity they subscribed to during the day. Lili was an athlete like him as well, if not a much better one, anyway. Why would she be... ]
...exhausted? What's wrong?
[ Eyebrows furrowed, Matthew wrapped an arm around her shoulders and settled them both back down onto to mattress. ]
[Action]
Do I snore?
