I was thinking that he was very strong, and had beautiful scars. I've always loved scars. But I hadn't been in a proper fight in so long, silly sparring matches don't count, so I had to do it with him. What I was thinking was that fighting would make me feel less dead, and it did. It always works. I find it hard to feel alive if there isn't enough adrenaline pumping.
